Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Data Centre Cabling Technician in Tampines to join a data centre manufacturing team. The role focuses on rack cabling, server installation and precise cable routing within racks, adhering to 5S and safety standards.

Candidate should have 1–2 years of relevant experience, and be able to work rotating 12-hour day/night shifts after training, with allowances and benefits as listed. Sundays are off in the permanent schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum Technical School, Vocational School, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or High School qualification.
• 1–2 years of experience in rack cabling, structured cabling, server assembly, or related production environments.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods; comfortable working at heights.

Responsibilities

• Perform rack cabling according to drawings, work instructions and specs.
• Install and route cables within server racks with neat cable management.
• Maintain 5S and good housekeeping in the work area.
• Ensure work is safe, accurate and in line with quality standards.
• Support other production and operational duties as assigned.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: $2,800 – $3,200/month

12-Hour Day Shift Allowance: +$12 per shift

12-Hour Night Shift Allowance: +$24 per shift

Shift Premium: +$15/month

Meal Allowance: $8/day

Transport Allowance: $8/day

Work Location: Tampines

Key Responsibilities

• Perform rack cabling according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications.
• Install and route cables within server racks while ensuring neat and accurate cable management.
• Maintain 5S standards and good housekeeping within the work area.
• Ensure work is completed safely, accurately, and according to quality standards.
• Support other production and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum Technical School, Vocational School, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or High School qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in rack cabling, structured cabling, server assembly, electrical assembly, electronics manufacturing, or related production environments.
• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable working on ladders and at heights.
• Good hand dexterity and attention to detail.
• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs (approximately 23kg).
• Basic computer literacy.
• Able to commit to rotating 12-hour day and night shifts after the training period.

Working Hours

Training Period (First 3 Months)

Monday to Friday

8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

After Training

Monthly rotating 12-hour shifts:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:30 PM
• Night Shift: 8:30 PM – 8:00 AM
• Average 16 working days per month
• Sunday is a fixed rest day
• Daily 1.5-hour break plus 30-minute shift handover
• Overtime is subject to supervisor approval
