Job description

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operation of the data center.

• Ensure routine building checks are carry out daily.

• Conducts power and water meter readings on a daily basis.

• Escalate all M&E faults, abnormalities/ findings to Lead Technician, Engineer & Facility Operations Manager.

• Update occurrence book for all activities within the day.

• Liaise with customer on troubleshooting on temperature, humidity, power issues within data halls.

• Ensure all contractor and supplier complete the daily permit to work information form and carry all necessary isolation before works are allowed to carry out.

• Participate in HT/LT power shutdown Servicing, fire alarm testing and M&E upgrading works from planning stage to implementation and completion.

• Carry out maintenance work in accordance with maintenance schedule & monitor vendor/supplier in carrying out regular servicing.

• Provide 24X7 support to data center facilities fault & incident, including on-call support.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in managing data center facilities.

• Able to work on shift system.

• Able to communicate with customers.

• Able to write in English (simple).

• Positive attitude & willing to learn.
