Job summary

EXCELTECH COMPUTERS PTE. LTD. seeks a Data Center Operator for our Simei facility (Healthcare). You will monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, cabling, fire detection and suppression, and support ongoing maintenance and upgrades.

You will also manage physical security, access controls, keys and logs, track assets and off-site backups, and participate in incident response and audits to ensure compliance. Shift work and 24/9 standby are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in IT required.
• 3+ years in data centre operations, including incident and vendor management.
• ITIL v3 Foundation certification required; DCFC preferred.
• Shift work and 24/9 standby are required.

Responsibilities

• Facility operations: Monitor and maintain data centre infrastructure, including power, cooling, cabling, and fire detection and suppression; support maintenance, repairs and upgrades.
• Physical security: Control access to data centre and racks, manage physical keys and access logs, and report violations.
• Asset and backup media: Track assets through their lifecycle, including audits and disposal; manage off-site backup media with suppliers and keep inventory with monthly reports.
• Incidents and compliance: Respond to and elevate incidents by severity, conduct routine physical inspections, and support audits and fixes for any findings.
