Job summary

Firmus Technologies is seeking a Project Engineer to lead planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale data centre network construction and deployment. The role combines construction delivery with hands-on network deployment, guiding site teams to ensure designs are followed and quality standards met.

The ideal candidate will have experience with structured cabling, fibre optics, and data centre environments, reporting to the Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Diploma in a technical field related to telecommunications, networking or construction management.
• 4–10 years' experience delivering network infrastructure construction and deployment projects.
• Experience supervising network infrastructure installations including structured cabling and fibre optics.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction delivery of structured cabling, fibre optic infrastructure, rack and cabinet installation, cable containment and network equipment deployment.
• Develop construction execution plans and daily/weekly work plans aligned with project master schedule.
• Mentor Site Engineers and subcontractors to deliver works safely and to programme.
• Coordinate interfaces with Network Engineering, MEP, Civil, Architectural, Security, BMS/DCIM and Operations teams.
