Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Min 5 years in data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale HVAC/ mechanical engineering.
• Strong knowledge of chilled water systems, air distribution and thermal management.
• Experience with cooling optimization and energy efficiency strategies.
• Ability to interpret mechanical schematics and drawings.
• Strong vendor and project management capabilities.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Aufgaben

• Serve as the primary technical authority for mechanical and thermal systems in the data centre.
• Establish mechanical engineering standards, operating guidelines, and performance benchmarks.
• Provide input for cooling designs, system upgrades, troubleshooting, and incident investigations.
• Conduct system performance audits, thermal risk assessments, and efficiency studies.
• Oversee mechanical equipment operations including chillers, cooling towers, CRAC/CRAH units, pumps and piping.
• Review and approve mechanical designs, drawings, and shop drawings.
• Lead RCA for cooling or mechanical incidents and ensure safety compliance.
