Job summary

OpenTalent in Singapore seeks an Enterprise Data Analytics Platform Architect to lead the design and evolution of our cloud-based analytics stack. You will own technology relationships, drive architecture improvements, and evaluate emerging technologies through proofs of concepts.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing a modern Data Analytics Platform in Google Cloud.
• Architect level knowledge of relational databases, Data Lakes, and BigQuery.
• Architect level knowledge of Looker and other BI tools.
• Administrator level knowledge of Collibra or other Data Governance tools.

Responsibilities

• Owns technology relationships and drives thought leadership.
• Continuously improve the Data Analytics Platform architecture.
• Lead research, case studies and prototypes on new technologies.
• Develop POCs to evaluate technologies and provide recommendations.
• Develop and enforce standards, best practices and guidelines.
• Propose enhancements to improve cloud analytics performance and reliability.
• Own the enterprise Data Analytics Platform system architecture.
• Collaborate with internal/external architects to keep architecture healthy.
• Manage lifecycle and 5-year roadmap for the platform.
• Monitor platform performance to meet service levels.
• Maintain platform stability and maximize availability.
• Manage data governance processes and guidelines.
