Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a data analytics-focused professional within the DART framework to enhance audit functions across Singtel Group and its regional mobile associates. The role emphasizes leading complex data analytics, enabling the IA team to leverage DA tools, and driving AI-enabled continuous auditing across a large geography.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in statistics, data science or AI, with 4–6 years in audit/BI and hands-on experience in SQL, Tableau/Power BI,

Qualifications

• Recognized university degree in statistics, data science or artificial intelligence.
• At least 4–6 years’ experience in audit, BI, data visualization, ML or AI.
• Proven track record in using Data Analytics and training others in DA within IA teams.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and AI.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform more complex data analytic work.
• Educate and encourage rest of team to use DA.
• Identify tools to be used and train team on new tools.
• Develop relationships internally to source necessary data, emphasizing relationship management.
• Support continuous risk assessments and continuous auditing using data analytics, robotics/AI.
• Perform administrative duties when required.

How You will Make An Impact:

Support the Director of DART in developing the DART framework and operationalize across all audit functions in Singtel Group and regional mobile associates.

Specifically Support Director of DART in:

• Leading and performing more complex data analytic work
• Helping to educate and encourage rest of team to use DA
• Support DART Director in helping to identify various tools to be used
• Train and develop the team on use of new tools
• Develop relationships internally in IA and also within the firm to source the necessary data, key emphasis on relationship management
• Support team in developing continuous risk assessments and continuous auditing, leverage use of data analytics and particularly implement robotics/AI to help identify and perform continuous and automated auditing on high risk areas
• Perform administrative duties, when required.

Training and Awareness

• Coach and develop team members within the operational IA teams to improve their skills.

Stakeholder Management.

• As a member of the DART team Influencing and managing DA and Robotics across Global audit functions and its regional mobile associates in a large geography covering Singapore, Australia, US and all other jurisdictions the Group has operations; which demands deep IA, DA and robotics expertise as well as effective leadership and communication skills.

Skills for Success:

• Recognized university degree, preferably in the field of statistics, data science or artificial intelligence.
• At least 4 to 6 years’ experience in audit, BI, data visualization, machine learning or AI.
• Proven track record in using Data Analytics, and ability to be able to help support training and awareness of DA within the IA team.
• Solid understanding of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
• Hands-on experience in SQL, Tableau / Power BI, R / Python and UiPath
• Has completed or is in process of completing advanced external DA training and qualifications.
• Can build relationships with key stakeholders in sourcing the data and helping to support the teams in performing DA on audits.
• Strong leadership qualities and general management skills.
• Strong stakeholders management and interpersonal skills, with ability to influence cross-functionally, across levels, with diverse groups in a rapidly evolving business environment while managing multiple / concurrent projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and technical writing skills.
• Independent self-starter with ability to multitask. Able to work independently and effectively under pressure/tight deadlines.
• Attention to details, creative mindset and interest in data analytics
• Meticulous, quick to learn, detailed, ability to work with many parties in the SingTel Group.
