Job summary

APAR Technologies Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to bridge business and technology teams, drive requirements, metadata governance, platform configuration, testing, and user adoption for the product implementation.

You will gather and manage requirements, define metadata models and governance processes, create user stories, perform UAT, and develop training materials, collaborating with Product Owners, Data Stewards, Architects, and Engineering to deliver outcomes.

Qualifications

10+ years of Business Analysis experience in Data, Analytics, Data Governance/Management, or Enterprise Data Platform implementations.
Strong knowledge of metadata management, data governance, and data catalog concepts.
Experience with Agile delivery, requirements management, and stakeholder engagement.
Familiarity with OpenMetadata, Collibra, Alation, Informatica, or similar platforms is preferred.
Strong communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and manage business and functional requirements.
Define metadata models, business glossaries, and governance processes.
Design and document governance workflows, controls, and stewardship processes.
Create and manage user stories, backlog items, and release requirements.
Perform UAT and validate platform features, configurations, and customizations.
Develop training materials and support user adoption activities.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Data Stewards, Architects, and Engineering teams to ensure successful delivery.
