Job summary

GMP Technologies seeks a Data Analyst / Scientist (Healthcare) to assemble and manage large healthcare data sets, perform data preparation, mining, and exploratory analysis to uncover actionable insights.

You will translate complex analytics into clear recommendations for stakeholders, support data governance and build analytics infrastructure, with a collaborative team and independent work style.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in statistics, biomedical informatics, computer science, applied mathematics, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant industry experience in data analysis or data science.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or similar programming languages.
• Solid knowledge of data analysis tools, databases, and data manipulation techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and ability to translate data into business insights.
• Self-motivated with a proactive attitude and ability to work with diverse data sets.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and manage large, complex data sets from a variety of sources.
• Perform data preparation and mining to uncover opportunities through analytics.
• Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and iterate quickly to refine problem statements and uncover actionable insights.
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
• Assist in building and enhancing data science infrastructure, tools, and frameworks for efficient analysis, experimentation, and deployment of models.
• Ensure adherence to data governance and compliance policies while fulfilling data extraction, reporting, and dashboard development requests.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Biomedical Informatics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
• At least 3 years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or similar.
