Job description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Excellence Analyst (Contract) to support key commercial initiatives within the Commercial Excellence team. The role will assist in optimizing sales processes, tracking performance metrics, supporting business reviews, and enhancing distributor and pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will be data-savvy, analytical, and capable of working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Operations, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Commercial Execution Support:

  • Assist in analysing sales performance data and identifying trends.

  • Support the implementation of sales optimization strategies, including sales call analysis and territory realignment.

  • Help maintain and update CRM and sales tracking tools.

2. Business Performance Support:

  • Provide support in preparing business reviews and strategic sales reports.

  • Gather and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business results.

  • Assist in identifying challenges and growth opportunities through data insights.

3. Distributor Excellence Support:

  • Help track and optimize distributor performance.

  • Support initiatives aimed at improving distributor management and collaboration.

4. Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI, SQL, or other analytical tools.

  • Conduct research on market size, entitlement, competitor activities, and sales trends.

  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in data collection, reporting, and analysis.

  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Proactive & Self-Motivated: A keen willingness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or currently pursuing) in Business, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.

  • 0.5 - 2 years of experience in data analysis, sales operations, or commercial strategy support (internship experience is acceptable).

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau,sql) is a plus.

  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is an advantage.

  • Knowledge of the healthcare or medical device industry is a plus but not required.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for process improvement.
