As a Data Analyst, you serve as a bridge between our data and business goals, providing deep insights for making business decisions. You constantly look for innovative ways to optimize the way games are operated.

Job Description

• Deliver data requests in a timely manner, including but not limited to data extraction, data analysis, data solutions, and data visualization
• Provide advice on best practices for data extraction methods, ensuring reliability and accuracy
• Conduct in-depth data analysis and studies into problems raised by business teams
• Drive the problem-solving process by suggesting hypotheses and corresponding data solutions
• Collaborate with Data Scientists on machine learning models to gain deeper insights into user behaviors
• Design and build data pipelines to streamline the retrieval and analysis of key information
• Address and fulfill other ad-hoc data requests from Garena teams as required

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field from a reputable university
• At least 1 year of experience in a data-related field is preferred. Fresh graduates with strong analytical skills are welcome to apply
• Strong in SQL or Python, with good knowledge of statistical modeling and basic understanding of machine learning with prior working experience
• Keen interest in AI and Large Language Models (LLMs), with the ability to explore and suggest potential AI-driven solutions to enhance and optimize business processes
• Strong logical thinking with the ability to present data insights clearly and effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative attitude
• Quick to learn and adaptable to working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience and passion in the gaming industry is a plus
• Passionate about games in general with at least an entry-level knowledge of the gaming industry
