Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience; banking exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
• Foundational understanding of SDLC concepts (requirements, design, build, test, deployment phases).
• Foundational understanding of data warehouse concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT basics).
• Basic working knowledge of Azure and Databricks concepts.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Basic knowledge of integration concepts: FTP/SFTP, MQ, and APIs.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn on a live, hands-on data platform.

We are looking for a Data SME to support a data engineering initiative built on Azure and Databricks. This is an early-career role: the ideal candidate has foundational knowledge of SDLC and data warehouse concepts, basic SQL/Python skills, and awareness of common integration methods, and is looking to build hands-on experience on a live data platform within a banking context.

• 1 to 3 years of experience; banking or financial services exposure is a plus but not mandatory.
• Foundational understanding of SDLC concepts (requirements, design, build, test, deployment phases).
• Foundational understanding of data warehouse concepts (e.g., dimensional modeling, ETL/ELT basics).
• Basic working knowledge of Azure and Databricks concepts.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Python.
• Basic knowledge of integration concepts: file transfer protocols (FTP/SFTP), MQ, and APIs.
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn on a live, hands-on data platform.
