About the role

This is a full-time on-site Data Analyst role located in Singapore.

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. This role requires a strong foundation in SQL, data engineering, and dashboard development, along with a passion for data-driven solutions, automation, and exploring AI/ML applications. You will be responsible for analyzing large amounts of data, creating and maintaining data standards and models, and presenting insights and reports to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Gather and preprocess large datasets from various sources to ensure data cleanliness, quality and integrity.
  • Conduct thorough analysis on session data to understand data patterns, trends, and insights.
  • Build, test, and validate predictive models using machine learning and statistical techniques.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business units, to implement data-driven solutions.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations to summarize analysis and recommendations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science and machine learning, and apply new methodologies to improve current processes.
  • Identify and solve complex data-related problems to support business decisions and strategy.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience as a data analyst and/or engineer in the SaaS space.
  • Highly detail oriented, organized and meticulous.
  • Great communication skills and a strong team player, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to a range of audiences.
  • Problem solving mindset with an ability to resolve open ended problems.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment. A self-starter mentality and attitude is a must.
  • Understanding of Relational Databases and Data Management Principles is a must.
  • Proficiency with query languages, such as BigQuery.
  • Experience with Google Firestore as NoSQL database.
  • Experience with ETL tools such as dbt/databricks.
  • Experience with a wide range of data visualisation tools, such as D3.js, PowerBI, Looker etc.
  • Experience with common data science toolkits, such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc.
  • Understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as k- NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests will be a plus.
