Job summary

Secretlab is seeking an Analytics Engineer who will design and maintain robust data models and automate data tasks. You will work on AI-native pipelines, ensure data quality, and collaborate with the AI Engineering Lead to align on progress and learnings.

You will ship real models from week one, participate in code reviews, and continually improve automation that reduces manual work while keeping data trustworthy.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in data, analytics, or software where your work was relied upon.
• Strong SQL with live defense of queries.
• Fundamentals of data modeling: grain, layers, and joins impact.
• Proficiency in Python to script real tasks; good Git habits.
• Experience with AI-native workflows and automated parts of your own work.
• Evidence-driven approach: you can show how your work is verified.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dbt models on Snowflake; participate in code reviews.
• Create loops/agents to automate real tasks with checks that verify outcomes.
• Operate data pipelines; monitor data quality and flags.
• Weekly sync with the AI Engineering Lead to share progress and learnings.
