D2C Operations Manager

Our client is one of the leaders in the home consumer appliances industry, seeking an operations manager to oversee planning, order management, and deliveries fulfilment.

Location: Toa Payoh

Contract: 6 Month (Maternity Cover)

Salary: Up to $9000

Orchestrating the deployment of D2C Supply Chain activities within APAC, acting as a single point of contact, responsible for planning, fulfilment, order management, and last mile delivery.

You will oversee the Supply Chain activities in deploying the D2C activities in APAC:

1. Driving the supply chain set up of the launches of new D2C channels, like 3rd party marketplaces and .com across APAC (N.A. – no new launches of D2C market this year).
2. Together with Warehouse and distribution set up D2C fulfillment capabilities.
3. Consolidating the D2C SC demand plan for APAC and drive through S&OP.
4. Coordinate the OM process in close collaboration with the central OM hub.
5. Own D2C Supply Chain logistics execution in the market and drive continuous improvement.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

1. Min 5 years of experience in supply chain including planning and supply chain execution.
2. Understanding of and affinity with D2C business models.
3. Min 3 years of project management experience (optional).
4. Understanding of ERP and planning tools, preferably SAP.
5. Business experience in Central and Eastern Europe. (APAC – specifically SG, MY, TH).
6. Masters (or local equivalent) in Business, Economics or Supply Chain management.
7. Fluent English.
8. Digitally savvy & data-confident.
