Job summary

Siltronic Silicon Wafer Pte Ltd is seeking an engineer to manage production orders in SAP, oversee ingot inventories, and coordinate shipments across sites. The role requires strong Excel skills and a solid engineering background to optimize manufacturing processes.

You will work with multiple departments to ensure uninterrupted ingot growing, manage rework activities, and provide timely commitments to the internal Order & Service team.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree is required.
• Knowledge of logistic processes and systems in manufacturing.
• Manufacturing process and product costing understanding.
• High level PC skills and familiarity with ERP/SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create production orders and execute lots in SAP.
• Ensure production can start and run without interruptions.
• Manage ingot inventory including stock level and safety stock.
• Provide shipment commit based on standard lead time.
• Manage stocker space and aging inventory.
• Schedule ingot growing based on demand and inventory.
• Manage rework, rework lot back to original product and downgrade.
• Coordinate with departments to optimize production in ingot growing.
• Plan and coordinate ingot shipments to different sites and scrap if needed.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Create production orders and execute lots in SAP. Ensure that production can start and produce without interruptions.
• Manage ingot inventory, including monitoring ingot stock level, ingot late shipment, ingot safety stock, ingot block/unblock in SAP, ingot loading priority, and ingot delivery
• Provide shipment commit to internal Order & Service team based on standard lead time.
• Manage stocker space and aging inventory
• Schedule ingot growing based on customer demand and strategic inventory
• Manage rework, which includes rework lot back to original product and downgrade
• Work with respective departments to achieve optimized production in ingot growing
• Plan and coordinate the shipment of ingots to different manufacturing site
• Manage and execute ingot scrapping if no more demand
