Job description

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Cybersecurity Specialist with leadership capabilities to join our Security Operations & Maintenance team. This role is ideal for professionals with hands-on experience in managing security tools, responding to incidents, and leading security operations in a dynamic enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance & Monitoring:

• Oversee daily operations of cybersecurity tools including firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
• Lead regular system health checks and ensure security technologies are functioning optimally.

Incident Response & Troubleshooting:

• Act as first responder for security alerts, performing initial investigations, documentation, and remediation steps.
• Coordinate with technology vendors for issue escalation and resolution where required.

Vulnerability Management & Patching:

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, enforce patch management schedules, and ensure compliance with internal policies.

Audit & Compliance Support:

• Support security audits by preparing logs, reports, and ensuring compliance with standards and best practices.

Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with IT, network, and infrastructure teams to deploy and manage security solutions.
• Maintain clear and detailed documentation on security processes, incident reports, and the cybersecurity landscape.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity maintenance or IT security operations.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience in a technical/operational security environment.
• Strong hands-on skills in one or more domains: Network Security, Endpoint Protection, Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Experience with container security or key management is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are advantageous.
