Job summary

InsiderSecurity is seeking a capable Application Engineer in Singapore to become the technical expert for our cybersecurity solutions. You will understand user needs, help deploy in on‑premises data centers or cloud environments, and translate requirements into concrete use cases while collaborating with product engineering.

Ideal candidates have strong Python skills, familiarity with Linux/Windows and cloud tools, and a passion for customer success.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in CS or engineering.
• Experience with Python or other high‑level languages.
• Bash scripting experience is a plus.
• Familiar with Windows, Linux, AWS and Kubernetes.
• Experience as an application field engineer or customer success engineer is an advantage.
• Excellent problem‑solving and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; able to work in a collaborative team.
• Singapore Citizenship or Singapore Permanent Resident required.

Responsibilities

• Be the technical expert of InsiderSecurity solutions for our users
• Achieve customer success by understanding user requirements and supporting users to achieve strong cybersecurity with our solutions
• Advise customers on the deployment architecture and best practices for our products
• Deploy and configure our solutions in customer data centers or cloud environments
• Develop and configure use cases to meet user’s needs
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
• Support the sales team by conducting technical sales demos and answering technical inquiries during sales
• Serve as the interface between users and our product engineering teams. This is an excellent role to gain experience and insight into the cybersecurity industry
