JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a diligent Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to identify, analyse, and mitigate cybersecurity risks in our systems and networks. This role involves the execution of risk assessments, vulnerability analyses and the development of risk management strategies. You should be well-versed in cybersecurity risk assessment methodologies and familiar with a variety of cybersecurity tools and software. The Cybersecurity Risk Analyst should ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data by identifying and managing potential cybersecurity risks.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Risk Assessment: Perform risk assessments to identify potential threats to the organization's information systems.
  2. Vulnerability Analysis: Analyse and assess vulnerabilities in the network and system infrastructure.
  3. Security Audits: Conduct security audits to ensure policies, processes, procedures and controls are effective.
  4. Incident Response: Develop strategies to handle security incidents and coordinate responses.
  5. Training: Provide training and guidance to staff on information security protocols and best practices.
  6. Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  7. Reporting: Prepare and deliver reports on risk analyses and security incidents.
  8. Collaboration: Work with different departments to support their cybersecurity requirements.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERTISE:

  1. Education: BSc degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or a related field.
  2. Experience: Proven experience in network management, cybersecurity, or a related field. Understanding of risk assessment methodologies and risk management processes.
  3. Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, knowledge of cybersecurity tools and software, and the ability to stay updated on the latest technology, news, cybersecurity trends and threats.
  4. At least 3 years of relevant experience.
