Job summary

GOLDTECH RESOURCES PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to protect enterprise IT and network environments, covering security monitoring, vulnerability management, incident response and governance.

You will work with infrastructure and network teams to implement controls and monitor threats, supporting security initiatives across AWS, Azure or GCP. The role requires 3–5 years in cybersecurity, with strong fundamentals and cloud security knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT security operations.
• Strong knowledge of threats, risk management, incident response and data protection.
• Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls, VPN, encryption).
• Experience with SIEM, firewalls, antivirus, IDS/IPS and vulnerability scanning tools.
• Basic knowledge of cloud security across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and documentation skills.
• Good communication and collaboration with IT teams.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity policies and controls.
• Configure and monitor security solutions including firewalls, SIEM, antivirus and IDS/IPS.
• Monitor events, investigate and assist incident response.
• Conduct vulnerability scanning and risk assessments.
• Work with network teams to implement secure configurations.
• Assist remediation for identified vulnerabilities.
• Maintain security-related asset inventories and documentation.
• Support compliance, reporting and audit requirements.
• Promote security awareness and best practices.
• Apply security best practices across AWS, Azure or GCP.
• Keep updated on threats, vulnerabilities and telecom security considerations.
