Job summary

Institute of Technical Education in Singapore seeks an IT Security Officer to monitor, analyse, and strengthen the organisation’s cybersecurity posture in line with Singapore Government policies and ITE’s standards.

You will support governance, risk management, incident response, and compliance activities to safeguard ICT systems and data, collaborating with project teams and government agencies to ensure robust security controls and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in IT Security & Operations.
• Credentials in Information Technology or related field.
• IT security certifications such as CEH, CISSP, OSCP, CISM or GIAC are a plus.
• Experience leading cross-functional IT Governance / IT Security & Operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop frameworks and reporting mechanisms for governance, security and risk.
• Review security risks and breaches to protect assets and information.
• Provide cybersecurity guidance to project teams for secure design and implementation.
• Coordinate incident response activities with GovTech and CSA when required.
• Monitor compliance with Singapore Government ICT security standards and best practices.
• Lead tabletop exercises and threat analysis to improve organisational readiness.
