Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated and technically capable Cybersecurity Deployment Engineer. The ideal candidate will be responsible for deploying and supporting cybersecurity solutions, providing product training, and supporting customers throughout the implementation lifecycle. This role also involves continuous upskilling and contributing to technical support efforts internally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deployment & Professional Services: Implement and upgrade cybersecurity products distributed by the organization. This includes managing customer relations and adhering to project timelines when needed.

  • Solution Delivery: Develop and present viable solutions that meet customer requirements or propose suitable alternatives.

  • Product Training: Conduct training sessions for customers, partners, and internal staff on the company’s product offerings.

  • Installation & Configuration: Independently perform installation and configuration tasks following detailed product documentation and best practices.

  • Continuous Learning: Pursue technical training and certifications relevant to the cybersecurity solutions you manage.

  • Subject Matter Expertise: Develop domain-specific expertise to support knowledge transfer and enhance the capability of the support team.

  • Technical Support: Assist pre- and post-sales teams by addressing technical queries, clarifying product features, supporting implementation efforts, and contributing to tender proposals and other ad-hoc technical tasks.

Job Requirements:

  • A positive, professional, and customer-oriented attitude.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and capable of meeting tight deadlines.

  • Possess a Nitec, Higher Nitec, Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in IT, cybersecurity, or systems implementation is preferred. Candidates without prior experience may be considered for an Associate-level role.

  • Strong foundational understanding of IT and security infrastructure such as:

    • Firewalls, VPNs, DLP, IDS/IPS, Web Proxy, DNS, Email Security, SIEM, Virtualization, Containers, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), DevOps/DevSecOps, Privileged Access Management (PAM), Identity Access Management (IAM), and Endpoint Security.

  • Experience or familiarity with CyberArk Conjur, Checkpoint, or Thales products is advantageous.

  • Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting a range of technical issues involving:

    • Routing, NAT, VLAN, Multicast, TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP, Active Directory, LDAP, RADIUS, SNMP, Syslog, SMTP, TLS, and SSH.

  • Demonstrates a keen interest in cybersecurity trends and evolving threat landscapes.

  • Programming/scripting knowledge in Python, C++, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Bash, or PowerShell is a plus.

  • Knowledge of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), networking principles, and basic Linux scripting is preferred.
