Job summary

Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (OCBC) invites a senior Cyber Engineering - Risk professional to lead cloud security engineering across hybrid and multi‑cloud platforms.   • 15+ years of cloud, infrastructure and cybersecurity engineering in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the enterprise cloud security engineering strategy across hybrid/multi‑cloud environments.
  • Enforce security‑by‑design principles across cloud platforms and AI workloads.
  • Design secure cloud architectures with network segmentation, identity controls, and resilience frameworks.
  • Lead container platforms governance (Kubernetes, OpenShift) for secure deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Drive DevSecOps and IaC practices embedding security into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ensure platform readiness with IAM, vulnerability management, logging, monitoring, and operational resilience.
  • Act as senior technical authority for cloud security risk and regulatory alignment (MAS TRM).
  • Collaborate with risk, audit, and infrastructure teams for auditable and measurable controls.
  • Lead cloud security transformation initiatives including AI and advanced analytics adoption.
  • Foster automation and AI-enabled security engineering for efficiency and scalability.
  • Partner with CTS for Day‑2 readiness with clear ownership and observability.

How you succeed

We are seeking a senior cybersecurity cloud engineeringleader to drive the design, engineering, and governance of secure hybrid andmulti‑cloud platforms across the organisation. This role is responsible forensuring cloud and platform security capabilities are embedded by design,scalable, and aligned with regulatory expectations in a highly regulatedenvironment.

The position will lead enterprise‑wide cloud securityengineering initiatives covering cloud infrastructure, container platforms,DevSecOps pipelines, and AI‑enabled workloads, ensuring security, resilience,and operational readiness across the full lifecycle of cloud adoption.

The role will act as the technical and engineering authorityfor cloud and platform security, working closely with CTS leadership, Risk,Audit, Infrastructure teams, and cyber defence programme leadership to drivesecure transformation and long‑term platform sustainability.

What you do
  • Define and lead the enterprise cloud security engineering strategy across hybrid and multi‑cloud environments (public cloud, private cloud, and on‑prem platforms).
  • Establish and enforce security‑by‑design principles across cloud platforms, containers, DevSecOps pipelines, and AI workloads.
  • Design and implement secure cloud architectures, including network segmentation, identity controls, runtime protection, monitoring, and resilience frameworks.
  • Lead engineering and governance of container platforms and modern application environments (e.g. Kubernetes, OpenShift), ensuring secure deployment and lifecycle management.
  • Drive DevSecOps and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices, embedding security into CI/CD pipelines and automated provisioning workflows.
  • Ensure platform readiness through robust controls covering IAM, vulnerability management, logging, monitoring, and operational resilience.
  • Act as the senior technical authority for cloud security risk, control design, and regulatory alignment, ensuring compliance with MAS TRM and related requirements.
  • Work with Risk and Audit teams to ensure cloud security controls are auditable, measurable, and continuously monitored.
  • Lead cloud and platform security transformation initiatives, including adoption of new technologies, modernisation of legacy systems, and integration of emerging capabilities such as AI and advanced analytics.
  • Drive adoption of automation and AI‑enabled security engineering approaches to improve efficiency, scalability, and consistency.
  • Partner closely with CTS to ensure all cloud capabilities are operationally ready for Day‑2 support, with clear ownership models, observability, and supportability built in.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders (architecture, infrastructure, application teams) to ensure aligned delivery of secure platforms at scale.
  • Provide senior stakeholder engagement and advisory, translating complex technical and security risks into business outcomes for leadership and governance forums.
Who you are
  • 15+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, and cybersecurity engineering, with strong exposure to enterprise and regulated environments.
  • Proven leadership experience in designing and securing hybrid and multi‑cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or equivalent).
  • Strong experience with container platforms, DevSecOps, and automation frameworks (e.g. Kubernetes, CI/CD, Infrastructure‑as‑Code).
  • Demonstrated experience embedding security‑by‑design across cloud and platform environments, including identity, network, and workload protection.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory and audit requirements (e.g. MAS TRM or similar frameworks), with experience delivering compliant cloud platforms.
  • Proven ability to lead large‑scale platform transformation initiatives and drive cross‑functional engineering outcomes.
  • Hands‑on technical background with the ability to provide deep engineering guidance, not limited to high‑level architecture.
  • Experience applying automation and AI‑based approaches to improve platform security, monitoring or operational efficiency is strongly preferred.
