Job summary

Synapxe is seeking an intern to contribute to the Cybersecurity Awareness Programme in Singapore. You will support planning, design engaging materials, and analyse program data to drive improvements. The role involves leveraging AI tools to enhance content, and organising awareness events for management and staff.

You will gain practical experience in HealthTech, working with a multidisciplinary team and gaining exposure to cybersecurity awareness initiatives and data-driven campaigns.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate in Year 2 or Year 3 pursuing a degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• Basic understanding or interest in cybersecurity concepts and awareness of common cyber threats.
• Familiarity with data analysis fundamentals (Excel; Power BI is a plus).
• Basic knowledge of scripting or programming (Python) for simple automation or data tasks.
• Exposure or interest in AI tools and familiarity with Canva or digital engagement platforms.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) for content development and reporting.
• Strong interest in communications, content creation, or campaign development.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support planning and execution of cybersecurity awareness initiatives, including tabletop exercises and staff engagement activities.
• Design and develop awareness materials (newsletters, campaign content, communication assets).
• Analyse engagement data and program effectiveness to generate insights and recommendations.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance content creation, automate processes, and personalise awareness efforts.
• Assist in organising cybersecurity awareness events for management and staff.
• Conduct research on emerging cyber threats, awareness trends, and best practices.
• Propose and pilot innovative ideas to improve user engagement and strengthen cyber culture.
