Qualifications

• 3+ years in cybersecurity operations or a related technical role (e.g., detection engineer, security engineer, incident responder).
• Hands-on design, build and maintained automations on Low Code/No Code platforms such as SOAR.
• Ability to read and write Python to build and maintain automation content.
• Experience with SOC products: EDR, Threat Intel Platforms, Email Analysis, Malware Sandboxing, NIDS, DLP.
• Experience with data storage and retrieval systems (SIEM, databases, data lakes).
• Ability to break down complex processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Curiosity and adaptability to rapidly evolving security tech.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering/IT/Cybersecurity or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and test automation content for prioritized use cases, including platform configuration and tooling integrations.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation content, adapting to changes in upstream platforms and data sources.
• Support configuration of vendor and internal products aligned with the overall tech vision.
• Document work with SOPs, runbooks, and technical notes for support and future enhancements.
• Communicate progress, blockers, and observations to stakeholders and team.
• Collaborate with senior PTO members on design decisions and grow independent ownership.
• Identify optimization opportunities by analyzing CSOC problems beyond the stated automation request.
• Represent PTO in APAC and build strong relationships with CSOC and regional stakeholders.
