Job summary

A leading company in cybersecurity is seeking a Cybersecurity Specialist for a 2-year renewable contract in Singapore. The role involves overseeing the development and maintenance of cybersecurity measures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and collaborating with vendors. Candidates should possess a degree in Cybersecurity or Digital Forensics, have at least 4 years of experience in relevant sectors, and hold necessary certifications. This is a significant opportunity to enhance security protocols within critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 4 years experience in Operational Technology or cybersecurity.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications (CISSP, CISM).
  • Experience with industrial protocols (Modbus, OPC) and DCS/SCADA/PLC systems.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and implement cybersecurity measures for Plant control systems.
  • Conduct auditing, vulnerability assessments, and compliance testing.
  • Liaise with vendors and coordinate with stakeholders for incident response.

Job description

Recruitfirst is hiring! You will be outsourced / deployed to:

Duration: 2 years renewable contract
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8.15am to 5.30pm
Salary: $3,500 - $5,500 + bonus
Location: Tuas South (Company transport provided at Choa Chu Kang/ Jurong East)

Job Scope:
○ Oversee the development, testing, and maintenance of cybersecurity measures to safeguard Critical Information Infrastructure assets within Plant control systems
○ Designing and implementing cybersecurity policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
○ Conducting CII auditing, vulnerability assessments, risk assessments
○ Conducting CII penetration (PEN) test, red/ purple teaming exercise
○ Liaising with cybersecurity vendors in conducting relevant assessments
○ Coordinating with stakeholders to maintain optimal security levels, preparing incident response plans, and providing cybersecurity training to employees
○ Plan and implement budgeted cybersecurity projects based on business requirements

Requirements:
○ Singaporeans only
○ Degree/ Diploma in Cybersecurity or Digital Forensics
○ Minimum 4 years experience in Operational Technology (OT), cybersecurity, ideally within the energy, healthcare, or transportation sectors
○ Experience working with government agencies or regulatory bodies
○ Relevant cybersecurity certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or similar credentials
○ Experience with industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC) and DCS/SCADA/PLC systems (e.g., Mitsubishi Netmation, GE)
○ Familiar with cybersecurity tools such as Wireshark, Splunk for system log analysis and threat detection
