Job summary

A leading company specializing in cybersecurity services is seeking a qualified individual to assist with evaluating OT-related systems, conducting risk assessments, and implementing security measures. The ideal candidate should hold a relevant degree and possess hands-on experience in cybersecurity. Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in OT or Critical Infrastructure cybersecurity.
  • Familiarity with CSA CCoP and PUB WSCP is advantageous.
  • Industry-recognized certifications (CISSP, CRISC) are a plus.

Job description

Assist in the evaluation and recommendation of OT-related systems and equipment according to regulatory requirements.

Assess risks associated with the organization's IT/OT infrastructure and systems, identify potential vulnerabilities, and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.

Develop and facilitate security policies and procedures that align with industry best practices and regulatory requirements, then implement those policies across the organization.

Monitor the organization's IT infrastructure and networks for suspicious activity or security breaches, and respond promptly to any incidents detected.

Perform regular security audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls and identify gaps that need addressing.

Perform Indicator of Compromise (IOC) scans if required.

Provide support for ad-hoc duties from clients as needed.

Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, configuration reviews, and policy updates.

Implement firewalls such as Cisco and Fortinet.

Implement switches from Cisco, Fortinet, Hirschmann, Siemens.

Manage system administration tasks for Windows Active Directory.

Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks.

Apply Windows OS patches and updates.

Manage endpoint security services such as Trellix and Symantec Endpoint.

Support incident and case handling.

Respond to emergency calls and service requests from customers.

Perform any other ad-hoc tasks assigned.

Be on standby for 24x7 emergency response and attend to urgent calls.

Willingness to travel to different job sites in Singapore.

Qualifications:
  • A relevant diploma or degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology.
  • At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in OT or Critical Infrastructure cybersecurity. Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Familiarity with CSA CCoP and PUB WSCP is advantageous.
  • Industry-recognized cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP, CRISC are a plus.
  • Knowledge of networking and security controls (e.g., routers, VLANs, NMS, VPNs, firewalls, antivirus, patch management, MS Active Directory, backup/recovery).
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with team members and present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred Singaporean candidates due to the sensitive nature of the role supporting Singapore CII.
