Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to strengthen our security framework and ensure compliance with data protection laws. You will lead security initiatives and promote a culture of cybersecurity awareness across the organization.

Key focus areas include monitoring security tools, incident response, audits, and vendor risk assessments, with a drive to achieve Cyber Trust Mark readiness and ongoing security improvements across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity or Information Security, with risk management and compliance.
• Expertise in security monitoring and incident response, including threat detection and security tools management.
• Experience in vulnerability management and conducting security assessments, including penetration testing.
• Strong understanding of data protection laws and experience in supporting compliance initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop and enforce security policies, and prepare for audits and certifications.
• Demonstrated capability to lead security projects and effectively communicate security risks to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily monitoring of security tools and identify threats in collaboration with IT teams.
• Coordinate incident response efforts and ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and incidents.
• Manage penetration tests and annual cybersecurity assessments, documenting findings and ensuring remediation.
• Develop and maintain IT security policies and procedures; support teams in addressing identified security gaps.
• Lead preparations for Cyber Trust Mark Certification and similar external audits, ensuring organizational readiness.
• Conduct monthly phishing simulations and quarterly security awareness training to foster a cyber-aware culture.
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and collaborate with relevant officers on privacy audits and risk assessments.
• Lead and manage key security projects, including implementation of new tools and vendor security evaluations.
