Job summary

ST Engineering's Training & Simulation Systems division seeks a Cyber Security Assistant Manager/Manager to design and secure simulator architectures. The role requires deep cybersecurity experience and leadership in security controls.

The successful candidate will drive threat modeling, build secure baselines, and mentor a team of cybersecurity engineers in a fast-paced defence and engineering environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years’ experience in designing and implementing cybersecurity solutions or architectures.
• Well versed with cybersecurity standards, protocols and frameworks, including CIS Benchmarks.
• Clear and effective communication is vital for coordinating with stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze complex problems and devise cyber security solutions.
• Commitment to keeping up with emerging technologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Designs, develops, and implements secure and resilient system architectures for simulator projects.
• Applies security-by-design principles throughout the system development lifecycle and mitigates risks.
• Produces threat models, hardening standards, and secure configuration baselines.
• Leads engineering and deployment of security controls including IAM, network security, and encryption.
• Drives periodic security reviews and audits to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
• Maintains baseline cybersecurity standards and secure build configurations.
• Leads a team of cybersecurity engineers and system administrators to implement security architecture.
• Provides technical guidance and troubleshooting during implementation and incident response.
• Prioritizes remediation of vulnerabilities based on risk and impact.
