Job summary

KPMG Services Pte Ltd seeks a cyber incident responder and forensic expert to investigate security incidents, determine root causes, and guide remediation efforts. You will work with seasoned professionals and client teams, contributing to reports and playbooks while growing your expertise in cyber response.

You will handle day-to-day tasks in project teams, with supervision from senior colleagues, and you may mentor junior staff. Flexibility to work outside normal hours is expected.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of experience in a technology related field including at least 2 years in cybersecurity with exposure to incident response and digital forensics.
• Good understanding of networking and internet fundamentals; familiarity with major cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Experience with Windows and Linux OS; ability to manage basic system tasks and review security logs.

Responsibilities

• Investigate cyber incidents, determine root cause and extent of breach; assess data exfiltration.
• Contribute to incident response and forensic reports; brief colleagues and clients as needed.
• Work in project teams under supervision; mentor junior staff and ensure quality of deliverables.
