Job summary

OpenTalent in Singapore is seeking a Digital Forensics Incident Responder (DFIR) to join the cyber security team. The role focuses on investigating and remediating cyber security incidents and digital evidence.

You will work with forensic tool kits such as Magnet AXIOM, Encase, X-Ways, FTK or Autopsy, monitor threats, and provide end-to-end incident analysis. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or Information Security.
• At least 5 years in Information Security focusing on cyber incidents or digital forensics.
• Experience with forensic toolkit imaging and evidence handling (AXIOM/Encase/X-Ways/FTK/Autopsy).
• Knowledge of Malware, IDS and SIEM platforms.
• Strong problem solving, analytical skills and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide forensic support to manage Digital Forensic and Incident Responder operations.
• Monitor and triage cyber threat information from news, feeds and logs.
• Support DFIR analysts to investigate malware incidents or root-cause analyses.
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents involving digital forensic and malware/log analysis.
• Perform cybersecurity threats and vulnerability assessments.
• Provide guidance on investigations and threat assessments.
• Track incidents from detection to closure per SOP.
• Maintain situational awareness with cyber threat news and TTPs.
• Prepare and review incident reports for stakeholders.
