Job summary

Info-communications Media Development Authority (IMDA) in Singapore seeks an experienced cybersecurity investigator to strengthen the telecommunication and media sectors' resilience. You will work within the Connectivity, Cybersecurity & Resilience Group to respond to incidents from containment to closure, conduct forensic analysis, and guide threat assessments.

5+ years in cybersecurity incident investigations or digital forensics.
Certifications in GIAC GCFA, GREM, GCFE, or GCIH are highly regarded.
Experience with SOC operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with team to ensure smooth daily operations and prioritisation; coordinate timely response to cybersecurity incidents from containment to closure.
Investigate incidents to determine root cause using log analysis, digital forensics, or malware analysis; assess threats, vulnerabilities, and exploits.
Provide guidance on preventive actions, mitigations, and threat detection rules/signatures (e.g., Snort, Yara, Sigma).
Prepare and review incident reports; present briefings on techniques, malware behaviours, risks, and impacts to stakeholders.
Review and update incident response playbooks; maintain processes and stay updated with cyber threats and TTPs.
