Job summary

The successful candidate will support production, ensure equipment readiness, and perform maintenance activities. This role requires strong teamwork and excellent communication skills, along with a diploma in a relevant field and 2-3 years of related experience.

  • Assist Thin Film equipment engineers to sustain equipment performance.
  • Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the production.
  • Lead/Participate in Continuous Improvement projects.

We’re searching for an Associate Engineer to be part of our Thin Film CVD diverse team of talent. You will support the running of Production and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.

What you will be working on:

  • To assist Thin Film equipment engineers to sustain equipment performance and perform schedule & adhoc preventive maintenance related activities to achieve operation goals

  • Perform 12-hour shift duties to support the running of Production and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production

  • Ensure good PM quality and PM success rate for good Uptime

  • Planning of Daily PM schedule for negotiations with Manufacturing

  • Maintain good 6s in work environment before and after PM

  • Parts ownership to ensure sufficient parts for basic Preventive Maintenance Activities

  • Troubleshoot and resolve Issues encountered during PM

  • Assist Duty Engineers in Sustaining the line and recovery of Tool Alarms and parts change

  • Assist new crews on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy

  • Provide Hands on Training for New PM Crew

  • Lead/Participate in Continuous Improvement projects to meet Company Objectives

More about you:

  • Diploma / ITC / NTC in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Mechanical/ Microelectronics

  • 2-3 years’ experience in frontend semiconductor manufacturing environment.

  • Some knowledge in Microsoft Office applications

  • Able to perform 12-hour rotating shift

  • Good ability and experience working in a multi-cultural environment

  • Clear and concise presentation skills

  • Team Player

  • Strong sense of responsibility and Positive learning attitude
