The KLA Services team, headquartered in Milpitas, CA, is our service organization that includes Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain Management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The organization partners with our field teams and customers across all business sectors to maintain high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing, and motion control with worldwide service engineers; 24/7 technical support teams; knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description & Preferred Qualifications
  • Perform field service activities such as troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing highly complex equipment at customer wafer fab facilities.
  • Resolve installation and upgrading issues.
  • Coordinate equipment schedules to minimize system downtime.
  • Conduct customer orientation and technical training on equipment maintenance and support for user applications.
  • Prepare field service reports on customer support activities and document recurring problems for other support functions.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to understand customer needs.
  • Ability to show initiative and work independently.
  • Willingness to work overtime and travel at short notice (transport allowance benefit, overtime compensation provided).
