Customer Success Specialist, Life Science
  • JoVE is the world-leading producer and provider of science video solutions with the mission to improve scientific research and education. Our institutional clients include over 1,000 universities, colleges, and biopharma companies, such as IIT, IISc, University of Oxford, University of Cambridge, Harvard, MIT, and Stanford.
  • As a growing company with offices in the USA, UK, Australia, and India, servicing clients in over 60 countries, we are seeking talented and ambitious individuals to join our team.
  • The role requires working according to the USA (EST) time zone: 9:00 am-5:00 pm EST / 7:00 pm-3:00 am IST.
The Role

The Specialist will work with subscribing universities and research institutions in India to demonstrate how JoVE video resources can support professors in their teaching and research.

Responsibilities
  1. Engage with professors to integrate JoVE resources into their curricula and increase usage among existing customers.
  2. Develop relationships with key decision-makers (e.g., Heads of Departments, Deans, Librarians) and teaching/research staff through daily outreach (phone calls, demo meetings, emails).
  3. Deliver product awareness through presentations and webinars at exhibits, conferences, university seminars, workshops, and onsite visits.
  4. Provide customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams.
  5. Maintain positive relationships with customer institutions to support client satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or PhD in Life Science disciplines.
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales and service within the education or publishing market preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and passion for remote relationship-building.
  • Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of education market trends and challenges in areas such as Biology, Chemistry, Medicine, Physics, Engineering, or Psychology.
  • Experience in networking using cold calling.
  • Knowledge of STEM publishing is preferred.
