Singtel and Singapore Institute of Technology have launched the "The Catalyst Programme" in Feb 2023. This structured on-the-job Work-Study Programme (WSP) enables Polytechnic Diploma holders to secure a full-time position with Singtel while pursuing a university honours degree in BEng Infrastructure and Systems Engineering. The programme is open to both internal employees and external polytechnic diploma holders, preferably from the Engineering domain. Candidates will be offered a specific role as detailed below. Make an Impact by

  • Working closely with the customer success manager to manage existing and potential customer requirements. Preparing for and supporting client SLA meetings to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Engaging with clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Participating in customer meetings, presentations, and workshops to gather requirements for data centre solutions.
  • Collaborating with operations and sales teams to design customized data centre solutions considering scalability, performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Providing ongoing support post-sale to ensure successful implementation and integration of solutions, addressing technical issues and facilitating communication between clients and internal teams.
  • Participating in customer audits.
  • Coordinating with maintenance teams and clients for major building maintenance.
  • Supporting the preparation of monthly reports by coordinating with the DC Operations team.

Skills for Success

  • A diploma in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or Building Services.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
