Job Description

A) Stocks Replenishment & Inventory Planning

  1. Monthly demand forecasting (including consolidation of sales forecasts & review) and inventory planning for Singapore warehouse
  2. Submit monthly rolling forecasts and purchase orders to factories
  3. Review and size the targeted stocks level
  4. Expedite and scheduling on time deliveries from factories
  5. Determine transportation mode used
  6. Work with sales team to clear customers’ backlogs
  7. Coordinate with freight forwarders (sea and air) for ship dates
  8. Invoices verification, receipt & submission to Finance Department
  9. Ensure all work processes are compliant to the company’s policy and local regulatory guidelines
  10. Escalate to management and factories for recovery plan, especially during allocation on products
  11. Prioritize and release stocks to customers on critical orders
  12. Follow audit observations and improve operational processes
  13. Assess goods return as acceptable and arrange RMA when necessary
  14. Approve credit note issuance (< = SGDxxxx)
  15. Enter and edit order both in Accpac & Salesforce applications, including change order, credit and rebill, in accordance to Somfy policies & processes.
  16. Follow-up and correct pricing or configuration issues

B) Logistics & Distribution Management

  1. Conduct full stock-take preparations (once every 6 months, by items/ by quantity / locations)
  2. Investigate discrepancies found from inventory record and to do inventory adjustments
  3. Perform aging stocks analysis
  4. Physical check of stocks affected from quality issue / product recall
  5. Assist sales team for projects management (stocks update and withdrawal for project use)
  6. Goods return arrangement for products with quality issue
  7. Arrange bulk shipment receipts (including sending ASN and coordinating with warehouse)
  8. Organize urgent deliveries to customers after cut-off time (for exceptional case)
  9. Update clients GIT information (including shipment schedules in terms of ETD and ETA)
  10. Perform any ad-hoc projects / duties assigned
Qualifications
  1. Degree holder of Business Administration, Logistics related aspects.
  2. 8+ years relevant experiences
  3. Computer literacy.
  4. Good command of spoken and written English.
  5. A good team player, effective communication and interpersonal skills and able to work with people from diverse culture
  6. Responsible, well organized with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
  7. Highly self-motivated individual who can work independently and with minimal supervision
  8. Able to manage multi-tasks, with ability to prioritize different objectives and meet tight timelines.
  9. Strong PC skills especially MS WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, SALESFORCE, PowerBI and familiar with MS Outlook and Office Applications.
  10. ERP knowledge (e.g. Oracle/SAP) is a PLUS
