Join Our Team as Studio Manager
Are you a highly organised, proactive individual with a heart for dance and a mind for business? We are a well-established dance studio in Singapore seeking a dedicated Studio Manager to lead our operations and support our talented team of teachers and students.
About The Role
You will be the backbone of our studio’s day-to-day success, managing staff, overseeing schedules, liaising with vendors, and creating an exceptional experience for families and dancers alike. This role requires maturity, reliability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with diverse responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily studio operations and class schedules
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using student database system, Microsoft Word, Excel, and other digital tools
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries and feedback via phone, email, and social media
- Manage and support teaching staff, including student development alongside teachers
- Handle staff attendance and payroll administration
- Organise and execute studio events such as recitals, photoshoots, and workshops, including budgeting and timeline management
- Liaise with vendors such as for costumes, venue bookings
- Assist with basic marketing and business development initiatives
- Manage social media messaging and posting (a plus)
Key Details
- Work schedule: 5.5 days/week
Weekday work: 12pm to 8.30pm
Saturday & Sunday: 8:45 AM – 6:00 PM - 1.5 day off on weekdays
- Bonuses: Performance-based bonuses available
- Benefits: Time off-in-lieu for weekend and event work
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in administration and customer service, in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organisational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to professionally handle client enquiries and feedback
- A mature and responsible attitude, capable of working independently and taking initiative
- Business-minded with a passion for continuous improvement and team development
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel; social media skills are a plus
- Experience in dance, enrichment, or education centres is a bonus but not essential
