Job summary:

  • Expected salary: $2,000 - $2,600 per month

About the role We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Venue & Events Staff to oversee all aspects of venue operations, event coordination, and client management. This full-time, contract position requires exceptional organizational skills, strong client relations abilities, and experience in venue management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Venue Management

    • Oversee comprehensive venue booking systems and calendar management

    • Implement and maintain detailed documentation procedures for all venue bookings

    • Conduct site tours and presentations for potential clients

    • Ensure venues are properly prepared, maintained, and restored between events

    • Provide on-site or near-site support during events to address immediate needs

  • Client Relations

    • Serve as primary point of contact for venue inquiries and bookings

    • Build and maintain relationships with clients throughout the booking process

    • Respond promptly to all client requests, feedback, and concerns

    • Coordinate pre-event meetings and post-event evaluations

    • Follow up with prospective clients and schedule consultations

  • Operational Management

    • Liaise with contractors for facilities maintenance, cleaning, landscaping, and other services

    • Coordinate and lead monthly management meetings with key stakeholders

    • Monitor venue conditions and report maintenance issues promptly

    • Prepare regular reports on venue usage, issues, and revenue performance

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Develop and sell wedding planning services to clients

  • Create and market event planning packages

  • Generate additional revenue through value-added services

What we're looking for

  • No experience is highly welcomed! Experience in a customer service or client-facing role, preferably in the events or hospitality industry is a bonus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with customers from diverse backgrounds

  • A passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations

  • Flexible schedule required with some evenings and weekends

  • Overtime will be compensated with time off in lieu
