Job Opening: Customer Service & Operations Executive at CARRIAGE GLOBAL (S) PTE. LTD. – Bukit Batok

CARRIAGE GLOBAL (S) PTE. LTD. is hiring a full-time Customer Service & Operations Executive in Bukit Batok, Singapore. Apply now to join our team.

Job Summary:

  • Availability to work on the following days and shifts:
  • Monday to Friday: Morning, Afternoon, and Evening shifts
  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant work experience
  • Salary range: SGD 2,500 - SGD 2,800 per month
  • Roles & Responsibilities:

    Manage and optimize transportation operations, coordinate driver schedules, track shipments, and ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

    Our company specializes in door-to-door project cargo transport and international freight forwarding, handling complex logistics across land, air, and sea, with a focus on safety, professionalism, punctuality, and competitive rates.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Report directly to the Head of Department, ensuring operational efficiency and timely processing of shipments through PSA Portnet and Jurong Port online systems.
    • Liaise with customers regarding shipments and local deliveries, ensuring all relevant documentation and information are available for processing.

    Required Documents:

    • Import permit / Bill of Lading / Packing List
    • Export Booking Reference
    • Storing/Release Order/Shipping Order / POD / ASN / UCI

    Coordinate with shipping agents, Port of Singapore Authority, and customers to obtain necessary shipment details. Monitor all import/export and domestic transport to avoid extra costs such as port rent, surcharges, and demurrage charges. Obtain acknowledgment from clients for any additional costs.

    Ensure timely delivery of PODs from drivers and monitor daily container/cargo delivery in collaboration with traffic controllers.

    Working Hours:

    0800hrs – 1730hrs, Monday to Friday, with a lunch break from 1200hrs – 1300hrs. Work is based in the office.

    • Cost-effective operations and initiative-taking

    Qualifications:

    Minimum "N" level or equivalent

    Experience:

    At least 2 years relevant experience, applicable only to Singaporean and PR candidates.

    Salary and Benefits:

    SGD 2,500+ with a potential one-month bonus for suitable candidates.
