A leading company in Singapore is seeking a customer service representative to manage order processing and ensure timely delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have at least GCE O' levels, experience in customer service, and proficiency in English and Mandarin. The role involves liaison with suppliers and maintaining customer records, requiring good organizational skills and a pleasant demeanor.
Responsibilities:
To handle order processing and expedite customers’ orders to ensure on-time delivery of goods
Prepares the necessary paperwork, such as delivery orders, invoices, and other documents for air or sea freight arrangements
Liaise with internal departments to expedite the sales order
Maintain a good filing system of customers’ history of buying from SLS
Perform any other admin duties as assigned
Requirements:
At least GCE “O’ levels or equivalent
At least 1 year working experience in customer service
Possessing shipping knowledge on Malaysia Import and Singapore export is an added advantage
Proficiency in English and Mandarin as required to liaise with China-based supplier.
Pleasant personality and customer service oriented
Able to work independently as well as in a team
Proficient in MS Excel and Word
Knowledge on JD Edwards will be an added advantage
Must be willing to work in Tuas (Company transport provided)
