It offers warehousing, freight forwarding, container and ISO tank depot, automotive logistics, and transportation services in Singapore. It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.

Role Description

We are looking for a Customer Service Officer in SH Cogent Logistics Pte Ltd. The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as inventory control, customer service, and order processing.

Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with customers to resolve feedback to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Liaise with customers on container/cargo/material/ inventory and other administrative and customer service duties.
  • Liaise with internal departments, vendors, and third parties to process order requests from customers.
  • Maintain all shipping and tracking records of customer inventory and movement accurately using the customer’s system and our WMS.
  • Generate, maintain, and submit a variety of reports periodically or as and when required.
  • Attend to customers’ enquires and requests and keep customers fully informed on GRN, GI, and delivery status.
  • Attend weekly/monthly/quarterly KPI meetings to present progress and KPI scorecards to customers.
  • Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies, and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed, and resolved.
  • Oversee team performance through daily engagement and distribution of workload.
  • Develop customer business relationships and explore new sales initiatives as and when possible.
  • Investigate incidents and accidents and prepare investigation report for submission to the superior and the department concerned.
  • Attend to customers’ requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in logistics and supply chain management, or equivalent qualifications preferred
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems software (WMS) is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience in shipping, logistics, and warehousing operations is also a plus
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Able to perform overtime when necessary

  • Working hours: Mon to Fri: 8.30am - 5.45pm; Alternate Saturday: 8.30am - 12.30pm
