Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales & Customer Service team in daily operations and client communications
  • Prepare quotations and follow up on customer sales enquiries
  • Handle booking placements and ensure smooth coordination of shipment schedules
  • Promote company services through telemarketing and customer engagement
  • Manage import/export logistics by coordinating with overseas and local agents
  • Liaise with shipping lines, co-loaders, and partners to secure competitive rates
  • Ensure accurate documentation and manifests for all shipments

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in Ocean and Air freight operations
  • Proficiency in English and Japanese language to liaise with internal and external Japanese speaking stakeholders and clients
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent analytical skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to operational accuracy
