Job description

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, delivering friendly, dependable, and high-quality service.
  • Ensure flight details are provided to customers within one hour of receiving a booking.
  • Verify the accuracy and compliance of export documentation during the processing of export work orders.
  • Apply for the appropriate export permits and complete all customs procedures in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Respond promptly to all incoming customer calls and inquiries.
  • Monitor shipment onboard status consistently and proactively inform customers of any irregularities or delays.
  • Maintain effective communication and coordination with internal departments such as Operations, Warehouse, Traffic, and Planning to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Confirm that the correct and most up-to-date airfreight rates are applied to all transactions.
  • Stay informed and updated on new airline requirements, government regulations, and industry changes affecting export procedures.
  • Prepare and submit all monthly customer reports accurately and on schedule without exception.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Japanese (spoken and written) to support communication with Japanese-speaking clients and partners.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in customer service, within the airfreight or logistics industry.
  • Experience in handling export documentation and customs procedures.
