Job summary

A logistics firm in Singapore is seeking an individual to manage import/export documentation and provide customer support for shipments. Responsibilities include liaising with agents and maintaining good relationships with shipping companies. Candidates should have a GCE N or O level and preferably experience in logistics or freight forwarding.

Qualifications

  • Minimum GCE N or O level is required.
  • Should have a positive attitude and be a team player.
  • Experience in logistics, shipping, or freight forwarding is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • In charge of import/export documentation and processes.
  • Provide customer support for shipments and advise on regulations.
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints.

Job description

  • In Charge of Import/Export Documentation & Processes
  • Shipping documentation (Import/ LC/ documentation/ Bill of Lading )
  • Provide customer support for shipments and advise various country customary rules and regulations; provide after-sales support and following up with client till the whole transaction is completed.
  • Handling customer enquires or complaints
  • Send all necessary information and documentation to clients / agents / sea companies / forwarders / warehouse accurately and on a timely basis
  • Liaise and maintain good relations with agents and shipping companies.
  • Knowledge in LCL Cargo Consolidation.
  • Other ad-hoc duties if required

Requirements

  • Minimum GCE N or O level
  • Responsible, positive attitude, be able to work independently and as a team player
  • Preferably with Logistics/ Shipping / Freight Forwarding Experience
