Position Title: Customer Service Officer
Working Location: Hougang
Working Hours: 8.30am – 5.30pm
Salary Package: Basic up to $3200 + AWS
Duration: Permanent Role
Key Responsibilities
Process customer orders and purchase orders to vendors.
Communicate with vendors to reschedule deliveries and resolve urgent issues.
Monitor delivery schedules and arrange for faster deliveries when needed.
Investigate and resolve any delivery problems.
Handle returns and claims, including arranging for the return of damaged goods to vendors.
Follow up with vendors about shortages or extra items in shipments.
Prepare and submit weekly reports as required.
Coordinate delivery dates and times with customers and relevant departments.
Build and maintain good relationships with purchasing contacts.
Check and verify invoices from forwarders or courier companies before payment, and prepare supporting documents if charges are to be billed back to suppliers or customers.
Take on any other related duties or projects as assigned by your supervisor.
Support the sales team by helping to process quotations and orders.
Make sure all shipments are delivered on time.
Continuously look for ways to improve purchasing processes and reduce costs.

Minimum GCE “O” level or equivalent.
2 to 3 years of experience in customer service or purchasing.
Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.
Knowledge of ACCPAC is an advantage.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Able to take initiative and work hard.
Strong follow-up skills and attention to detail.
