Cogent owns one of Singapore's largest one-stop integrated logistics hub, Cogent 1.Logistics Hub. It offers warehousing, freight forwarding, container and ISO tank depot, automotive logistics, and transportation services in Singapore. It also operates warehousing and container depot businesses in Malaysia.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Customer Service Officer located in Singapore. The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as shipping documentation, customer service, and order processing.

  1. Actively engage with customers to resolve feedback to ensure high level of satisfaction
  2. Liaise with customers on container/cargo/material/ inventory and other administrative and customer service duties
  3. Liaise with internal departments, vendors and third parties to process order requests from customers
  4. Maintain all shipping and tracking records of customer inventory and movement accurately using customer’s system and our WMS
  5. Generate, maintain and submit a variety of reports periodically or as and when required
  6. Attend to customers’ requests to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
  7. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned from time to time

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or Higher Nitec in logistics and supply chain management, or equivalent qualifications preferred
  2. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  3. Knowledge of warehouse management systems software is an advantage
  4. Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  5. Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  6. Knowledge and experience in shipping, logistics, and warehousing operations is also a plus
  7. Able to perform overtime when necessary
