A leading company is seeking an experienced professional for a customer service role in supply chain management. The successful candidate will manage sales orders, support credit management, and enhance customer relationships. This position requires strong knowledge of SAP processes and at least 5 years of experience in the field.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage Sales and Delivery Orders, including order creation, processing changes and returns, handling blocked orders, managing Letters of Credit, tracking shipping and delivery, coordinating with Logistics or third-party providers, and communicating with customers about order-related issues.
Build and maintain customer relationships by proactively updating them on order status, product availability, and delivery tracking.
Assist with Credit Management by handling billing and Accounts Receivable tasks such as monthly closing, billing corrections, invoice discrepancies, monitoring payment schedules, following up on overdue payments, and processing credit/debit notes and rebates.
Initiate requests for new article creation or extension and maintain ship-to-party and bank code details in SAP customer master data.
Address customer complaints using the Non-conformance Management (NCM) system, communicate investigation results and corrective actions, and ensure timely resolution of non-quality related issues. Collect and relay customer feedback to relevant business units.
Support the implementation of customer order management process rules and business guidelines.
Provide order status reports, monitor customer orders against sales forecasts, and communicate with Salespersons if there are discrepancies.
Gather and share market intelligence based on daily customer interactions with the business as needed.
Contribute to enhancing customer service and order management processes, fostering a culture of customer focus and positive teamwork.
Assist with SAP User Acceptance Testing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Support and embrace digitalization initiatives.
Perform backup duties as required.
Job Requirements:
GCE 'O' or 'A' level or a Polytechnic Diploma in Business or Supply Chain Management.
At least 5 years of experience in customer service and supply chain management.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders within the value chain.
Proficient in SAP Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes.
Strong understanding of business processes and customs formalities.
Knowledgeable in international trade.
Demonstrated customer focus and service orientation.
