Job summary

Merlin Entertainments Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a friendly Guest Experience Host for Madame Tussauds Singapore on Sentosa.

In this part-time role you will welcome guests, process ticket sales, stock the gift shop, assist with snapshots, and upsell experiences and souvenirs. You will operate interactive experiences, maintain safety, enjoy regular day shifts (9:30am-6:30pm), and benefit from meals, transport to Sentosa, and a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• Friendly and enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
• Excellent communicator who loves interacting with people from around the world.
• Passionate about delivering great guest service.
• Proven track record of reaching sales or guest feedback targets.
• Available to work regular weekends and public holidays.
• Previous cashiering and/or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests at entry and process ticket sales.
• Stock products in gift shop and sales counters.
• Assist guests with snapshots and questions about displays.
• Actively upsell souvenirs and tickets to experiences.
• Operate and monitor interactive experiences (4D cinema, boat ride, VR coaster).
• Maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety procedures.

We offer PART TIME work arrangements for this role

About the role:

In this role you will be responsible for delivering a happy guest experience and driving sales. Every day is different as your schedule will offer variety in your role working in different parts of the attraction from admissions to the gift shop.

Duties include:

• Welcome guests at the entry and process ticket sales
• Stock up products in the gift shop and sales counters
• Assist guests with taking snapshots and answering questions about the displays
• Actively upsell souvenirs and tickets to all experiences
• Operate and monitor interactive experiences including the 4D cinema show, boat ride and F1-themed, Roller Coaster VR game*
• Maintain cleanliness and follow all health & safety procedures

Please note that our fun training program will provide time and support so you can learn how to operate all interactive experiences before fulfilling duties in each area.

About you:

• Friendly and enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude
• Excellent communicator and loves to interact with people from all over the world
• Passionate about giving great guest service
• Proven track record of reaching sales or guest feedback targets
• Available to work regular weekends and public holidays
• Previous experience in cashiering and/or customer service roles is preferred

We offer the following work arrangements for Part Time position:

• $10 per hour (entry rate) +
• $5 daily allowance +
• Monthly Bonus up to $80
• Receive 1.5 x pay rate if working public holidays +
• Receive hourly rate increase up to $11 per hour following completion of training
