Job description

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with clients, carriers, transporters, and agents to manage sea and air import and export shipments
  • Address client requests and service issues, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
  • Prepare booking confirmations, Bills of Lading, and invoices for clients
  • Manage shipping paperwork, including import/export documents, BL, and permit declarations
  • Handle inquiries and bookings via phone and email, and provide customer quotations.
  • Utilize systems like Portnet and TradeNet for efficient operations
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Experience in Shipping/Logistics within the freight forwarding / Marine industry is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically.
  • Basic understanding of international trade, shipping regulations, and documentation.
  • Ability to problem-solve and provide timely resolution to customer issues

Salary: $2500.00 - $4000.00
