Job description
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with clients, carriers, transporters, and agents to manage sea and air import and export shipments
Address client requests and service issues, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
Prepare booking confirmations, Bills of Lading, and invoices for clients
Manage shipping paperwork, including import/export documents, BL, and permit declarations
Handle inquiries and bookings via phone and email, and provide customer quotations.
Utilize systems like Portnet and TradeNet for efficient operations
Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
Experience in Shipping/Logistics within the freight forwarding / Marine industry is preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle inquiries and negotiations diplomatically.
Basic understanding of international trade, shipping regulations, and documentation.
Ability to problem-solve and provide timely resolution to customer issues
Salary: $2500.00 - $4000.00
